Holly J. Burke is Counsel at Murphy Schiller & Wilkes LLP, where she focuses her practice on transactional commercial real estate matters. She represents clients in the acquisition, disposition, and leasing of industrial, office, retail, medical, and multifamily properties. She also represents lenders and borrowers in the negotiation of commercial mortgage and construction loans.
During the past year, Holly has developed a growing practice in liquor license sales and acquisitions. She primarily represents purchasers of liquor licenses from start to finish, assisting with application packages and advising on ABC compliance and license renewals. In addition, Holly is working with MSW partner Matt Schiller to expand the firm’s distressed real estate practice, representing lenders in deed-in-lieu negotiations and foreclosures of distressed assets. She also advises clients regarding tax sale certificate foreclosures.
Outside the firm, Holly is actively involved in the Real Property, Trusts and Estates (RPTE) Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association, where she has served as Real Property Consultor and currently serves as Recording Secretary. She is a member of several RPTE committees that provide guidance and comments on key legislation affecting New Jersey real estate practice. For the past 18 years, Holly has also been involved with the Woodland Cemetery Association, which operates historic Woodland Cemetery in Staten Island, New York. She currently serves as President and Trustee of the Association, overseeing restoration initiatives and day-to-day operations.

She earned an M.A. in Forensic Psychology from John Jay College of Criminal Justice.
