Gregory Wirtz serves as Of Counsel at Murphy Schiller & Wilkes LLP, where he focuses his practice on property tax matters for the firm’s clients.

Greg brings over 15 years of experience representing businesses, individuals, and municipalities in complex property tax matters throughout the State of New Jersey. A former law clerk to the Honorable Vito L. Bianco of the Tax Court of New Jersey, he has successfully handled tax appeals involving virtually every major property type—including office buildings, multifamily properties, condominiums, industrial facilities, and warehouses—resulting in millions of dollars in tax savings for his clients. In addition to his role at MSW, Greg remains the owner and operator of Wirtz Property Tax Law, a boutique firm dedicated exclusively to property tax appeals. His background in both private and municipal representation provides him with a comprehensive perspective on property tax litigation and negotiation.

Greg is a member of the New Jersey State Bar Association and the Dean’s Circle at the University of Miami School of Law. Raised in Sussex and Morris Counties, he now resides in Hudson County with his wife, Adriana.
