Eric Alvarez is a partner in the firm’s Litigation practice group, where he focuses his practice on complex commercial litigation, real estate disputes, construction litigation, and land use matters. With more than a decade of experience, Eric represents developers, property owners, contractors, subcontractors, architects, and engineers in high-stakes matters throughout New Jersey and New York state and federal courts, as well as arbitrations.

Eric has substantial experience representing real estate developers and property owners throughout all phases of the development process. He regularly advises clients on matters involving construction defects, delay claims, contract disputes, professional liability claims, easement and title disputes, and other issues affecting complex real estate projects.

Additionally, a significant portion of Eric’s practice is devoted to land use and prerogative writ litigation. He represents developers and property owners in challenges to municipal actions involving zoning, planning, and redevelopment. Recognized for his strategic and business-oriented approach to litigation, Eric works closely with clients to develop practical solutions that advance their legal and business objectives. He combines courtroom advocacy with a deep understanding of the real estate development process, guiding clients through complex disputes from inception through resolution.
