Daniel T. Perlman

Daniel T. Perlman is a partner at Murphy Schiller & Wilkes (MSW), where he focuses his practice on commercial real estate and corporate matters.

Dan brings more than twenty-five years of legal and business experience representing a broad range of clients, including developers, property owners, investors, institutional banks, private lenders, and domestic and international corporate entities. His practice encompasses all aspects of real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, condominium formations, and commercial leasing, as well as corporate finance matters such as mortgage, construction, and asset-based lending and borrowing.

Prior to joining MSW, Dan held a similar role at Sills Cummis & Gross and was a founding member and managing partner of Foley Perlman & Campbell, a full-service law firm with offices in New York and New Jersey. He began his legal career as a judicial law clerk to Edwin H. Stern, then Presiding Judge of the Appellate Division of the Superior Court of New Jersey, and subsequently practiced with McDermott Will & Emery and Reed Smith.

In addition to his legal practice, Dan has owned, operated, and successfully exited private ventures in the retail and technology sectors, giving him a practical, business-oriented perspective in advising clients.

Dan earned his Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School (Newark) and a Bachelor of Architecture from the New Jersey Institute of Technology. He leverages his multidisciplinary background to deliver strategic legal counsel paired with pragmatic business solutions grounded in legal, regulatory, and operational insight.
