Lisa E. Lomelo

COUNSEL

Lisa E. Lomelo‭, ‬Esq‭., ‬LEED AP‭, ‬focuses her practice on land use‭, ‬zoning‭, ‬redevelopment‭, ‬and litigation‭.

Lisa represents clients in all aspects of the development approval process‭. ‬She regularly appears before zoning‭, ‬land use and other government boards in connection with development applications‭. ‬As an experienced litigator‭, ‬Lisa handles land use‭, ‬real estate‭, ‬construction‭, ‬and commercial litigation matters‭. ‬Lisa represents clients in prerogative writ actions and appellate matters‭.

Lisa became a LEED Accredited Professional in 2008‭. ‬She was the first female attorney in the State of New Jersey to receive this‭ ‬accreditation‭. ‬In addition‭, ‬Lisa was named one of New Jersey’s‭ ‬“New Leaders of the Bar”‭ (‬formerly 40‭ ‬Under 40‭) ‬by the New Jersey Law Journal in 2018‭. ‬She has also been listed in Super Lawyers®‭ ‬Rising Stars‭ (‬2010-2018‭), ‬a Thomson Reuters business‭, ‬in the areas of Civil Litigation‭: ‬Defense‭, ‬General Litigation‭, ‬and Construction Litigation‭: ‬Business‭. ‬She is a member of the District XII fee arbitration committee‭.‬

Ms‭. ‬Lomelo is an active member of the New Jersey State Bar Association‭, ‬New Jersey Women Lawyers Association‭, ‬the New York State‭ ‬Bar Association‭, ‬and has been involved with various women’s initiative programs and mentoring programs‭. ‬She has presented various seminars on New Jersey Civil Litigation Practice‭.

She received her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University in Biochemical Engineering and her Juris Doctorate from Seton Hall‭ ‬University‭. ‬She served as a law clerk to The Honorable Camille M‭. ‬Kenny‭, ‬Superior Court of New Jersey‭, ‬Law Division‭. ‬Ms‭. ‬Lomelo‭ ‬is admitted to the bars of the State of New Jersey‭, ‬the State of New York‭, ‬and the United States District Court for the District‭ ‬of New Jersey‭.
