Daniel Kraft

Counsel

Daniel Kraft is Counsel in MSW’s Transactional Real Estate Practice, where he focuses on commercial real estate finance transactions, representing lenders and borrowers in acquisition, construction, and refinancing matters. He also advises clients on commercial real estate acquisitions and dispositions, leasing, development projects, and related transactional matters.

With more than twenty-five years of experience, Daniel counsels lenders, investors, developers, property owners, and businesses in connection with a broad range of commercial real estate transactions. He has extensive experience structuring, negotiating, documenting, and closing sophisticated financing arrangements involving a variety of commercial real estate assets, while guiding clients through all phases of the transaction process.

His practice includes drafting and negotiating loan documentation, purchase and sale agreements, leases, and organizational documents, as well as overseeing transactional due diligence and advising on title, survey, zoning, land use, environmental, and other risk management issues.

Prior to joining MSW, Daniel served in legal leadership roles with real estate investment and development organizations, including as general counsel for a family office and commercial real estate enterprise. In those positions, he advised on financing transactions, acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, development, construction, and operational matters. He also served as underwriting counsel with a national title insurance company, where he handled large-scale commercial real estate transactions and complex title matters throughout the United States.

Daniel earned his J.D. from Rutgers Law School and his B.A. from Cornell University. He is admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
