NEWARK, N.J. – Murphy Schiller & Wilkes LLP (“MSW”) is pleased to announce that Louisa “Lulu” Bigham has joined the firm as an Associate in its Land Use, Zoning and Redevelopment Practice Group.

Lulu joins MSW with experience spanning land use, zoning, redevelopment, commercial real estate, and real estate development. Her background includes work with leading law firms, a nationally recognized real estate developer, and community-based legal organizations, providing her with a unique perspective on the challenges and opportunities facing development projects throughout New Jersey.

“We are excited to welcome Lulu to the firm,” said Chris Murphy, Partner and Chair of MSW’s Land Use, Zoning and Redevelopment Practice Group. “She brings a strong work ethic, impressive experience, and a genuine passion for helping clients navigate the development process. Her background in both the legal and development sectors makes her an excellent addition to our team, and we are confident she will make an immediate impact on behalf of our clients.”

Prior to joining MSW, Lulu served as a Summer Associate at Sills Cummis & Gross, where she worked on matters involving commercial real estate, corporate transactions, and litigation. She also gained valuable development experience while working with LeFrak, assisting with land use approvals, zoning compliance, government incentive programs, and project due diligence for large-scale development projects.

While attending Rutgers Law School, Lulu participated in the Education & Health Law Clinic and worked with The Waterfront Project, gaining valuable advocacy and client-service experience. She also previously worked as a Legal Assistant supporting developers and commercial real estate clients in connection with transactions and land use matters.

“I am thrilled to join MSW and begin my legal career with such a talented and respected team,” said Bigham. “MSW has established itself as one of New Jersey’s premier land use and redevelopment law firms, and I look forward to helping clients advance transformative projects throughout the state.”
